QPR Train-the-Trainer Workshop

Question. Persuade. Refer. Three steps anyone can learn to help prevent suicide. Join NALHD for an interactive 8-hour workshop to become a certified trainer to teach QPR for suicide prevention in your community.

Cost is FREE for NALHD Members — for up to 1 staff person (a $495 value.)

Additonal spaces have been added at a cost of $250 per person for NALHD Partners and $395 for General Public.
With your registration, you get:

  • A QPR Instructor’s manual and teaching DVD, which includes power point slides, handouts, and much more
  • 25 QPR booklets and QPR wallet cards for training your community
  • A continuously updated toolkit with information on issues related to suicide
  • Support from the QPR Institute as you train QPR for Suicide Prevention in your community
  • And much more…

By attending this event, you will learn how to effectively promote suicide prevention and teach QPR for suicide prevention. You will earn certification as a QPR trainer from the QPR Institute’s National Board of Certified Counselors. This certification is valid for 3 years.

If your plans change, NALHD will not be able to provide refunds. NALHD members who register for their free spot and fail to cancel with 2-weeks notice, will be charged $250.
