Communicating daily with state and federal partners to stay up-to-date with the quickly changing COVID-19 guidance from the CDC and from Nebraska DHHS to so all of us can work together to flatten the Coronavirus curve and protect our healthcare system capacity
Planning with and sharing accurate information with K-12 schools; preschools; colleges; businesses; county, city and village governments, senior centers, etc.
Working to keep the elderly and people with underlying health conditions healthy and prepared.
Reminding community members about ways to stop the spread of Coronavirus and other germs.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a mask or face covering.
- Maintain 6-feet distance from others.
- Avoid gathering in groups (if a group is necessary, remember the 6 feet rule and wear a mask).
- Avoid gathering in closed and poorly ventilated places.
- Avoid visiting or hosting people who do not live with you. This includes family.
- Work from home if you can.
- Wash your hands often, for at least 20 seconds.
- Avoid touching your face, eyes, and mouth.
- Stay home if you are sick.
Encouraging community members to keep a reasonable supply of medications, tissues, hand soap, hand sanitizer and household cleaners/disinfectants, and basic food items on hand in case they are sick with COVID-19.
