21C

NALHD fosters collaboration to help Nebraska's public health system develop and grow. We cultivate statewide relationships that benefit local health departments in Nebraska and contribute to the advancement of the entire governmental public health system. Key partners in this work include the Division of Public Health at Nebraska DHHS and the University of Nebraska Medical Center's (UNMC) College of Public Health.

These same partners make up the core of Nebraska’s 21st Century (21C) Learning Community. 21C is a group of states focused on intentional state-wide public health system transformation and modernization. Nebraska was selected to join this work in 2022. Learn more about the 21C Learning Community.
